Fox TV’s new series, Misafir, was on the screen with its first episode on Thursday, November 11th. Starring Hazal Kaya, Buğra Gülsoy, Ozan Dolunay, Bülent Şakrak and Selen Öztürk, the series received average ratings with its first episode, while the jumping moments from the bridge in the first scenes of the series made hearts jump.
The sad story of Gece, who has grown up as an unwanted and unloved child by her mother since the day she was born and has no one else, started with the moments when she committed suicide from the bridge.
At the same time, Erdem, who came to take his children for a walk and was brought to life by Buğra Gülsoy, jumped into the water after the woman who committed suicide without hesitation and rescued her, while the same question arose in everyone’s minds in this scene of the series.
Hazal Kaya participated in a live broadcast on Instagram while experiencing the excitement of coming back to the screen after Bizim Hikaye.
While describing the excitement she experienced due to playing in the TV series “Misafir”, Kaya also used the term “a dream team” for her co-actors.
She stated that she read the script of the series while she was still pregnant and that she would like the story of the show and would like to play Gece, but that the situation was not clear in those days, and later on, it was a project that she enjoyed taking part in.
By the way, Kaya told about the background of the jumping from the bridge scene, which was very curious, for the first time. It was a matter of curiosity whether Hazal Kaya was the person who took off her shoes and walked to the middle of the bridge and jumped on it.
Hazal Kaya explained for the first time that the person at the time of the jump was not herself but her stunt double, saying that she had said that she would jump in the conversation she had with the director before the scene, and that all preparations were made for this, all safety measures were taken, but when she went to the set and looked down from the bridge, she understood that she could not do it.
Kaya conveyed those moments as follows: “I told our director at first that I would jump or something, but I am still very afraid of heights, you still make your plan B, I believe I will jump with my current mood. Of course, by the way, there is a strange protection system, it is not possible for me to fall from there. They’re pretty much waving me in the air, it’s nothing. Then that day I came to the set and looked down from the bridge. There is even a photo of that moment. They caught a moment when I said I wouldn’t jump out of here and laughed, our photographer behind the camera caught it. Of course I couldn’t jump. Just our stunt friend who jumped into the water. Her head shape was similar to mine, it was nice.”
Describing that day and before, the actress frankly stated in the live broadcast that she would share a pose taken at that moment when she said that it was not possible to jump down from the bridge. Keeping this promise, Kaya shared that photo today as well…
