‘Destan’, which will be in front of the audience for the first time on Tuesday, 23 November at 20.00 with its first episode on ATV, is getting ready to move the stones in the television world. Atv’s new series will fight for the first place with the production of TRT1 named Masumlar Apartmanı. It will not be good to start the epic series for Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey broadcast on Fox TV.
In the first part of the Destan; In the 8th century, a savage age reigns in Central Asia, in the lands not yet embraced by Islam. China has pointed its fangs at the Turkish leg, Russian Varangians, Mongols, Sogdians, Persians are waiting in the trap. As if it were not enough, the Turkish tribes that call the same blood Ata have fallen against each other. There is a great enmity between the Gök Khanate and the Dag Khanate, both of whom are Turks.
Under these political conditions, Alpagu Khan, the great khan of the Gök Khanate, decides to take the daughter of his brother Balamir Yabgu, whom he suspects of rebellion, as a bride to his cripple and one-armed son Batuga. He gathers his family and sets out for the Western Gök Khanate to ask for a girl. A great danger awaits them on the way: Mountain warrior Akkız, who has been burning with the fire of revenge since childhood!
Production and project design belongs to Mehmet Bozdağ; Ebru Şahin, Edip Tepeli and Selim Bayraktar play the leading roles in “Destan”, directed by Emir Khalilzadeh and written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Nehir Erdem.
‘Destan’ will be broadcast on ATV every Tuesday and there will be a great competition in the ratings.
