Kerem Bürsin, who supports the He For She campaign created for women’s rights, when asked what he wants to change in the series sets, said that he wants everyone to be equal.

The actor, who has been on the agenda recently with the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı, in which he starred with Hande Erçel, has gained great popularity in many countries of the world. With the emergence of love affairs with Hande Erçel, the popularity of the series has increased considerably, especially abroad.

Kerem Bürsin, who explained that he became more sensitive to this issue when he joined the For She movement, mentioned that women and men should be equal in all areas. Kerem Bürsin explained that there is an inequality in this sense in the series sets, and that this inequality is on the side of men both in terms of actors and working team.

The actor asked, “What would you like to change in the series?” He answered the question as follows: “I would like everyone to be equal. We have a big priority as men. That priority is power. That power doesn’t give us much. I would change that power, if I had a magic wand… My biggest problem with men is us. It is important to be informed about this issue, to raise our voice, to be able to overcome the pressure and to destroy that pressure. It affects us a lot as well.”

Upon the question of a reporter who reminded that the issue of violence against women is also included in the sets of the TV series, it was understood that Kerem Bürsin also had a determination to act together with the actors who came to the agenda with such issues.

The actor said that he may not want to play in the same project with an actor who has come to the fore with the issue of violence against women.

Kerem Bürsin said, “I don’t agree very much, but this is not true either, there is also a situation arising from ignorance. I’m struggling, if I have to work. But I would love to talk too. I probably wouldn’t work, it wouldn’t suit me,” he said.
