Canevim is produced by Koliba Film, directed by Adnan Güler, and written together by Filiz Alpgezmen, Eylem Akın and Murat Can Tura. It is a Turkish-made drama and family series.

The Canevim series was a drama production that was broadcast in the summer. It only lasted 17 episodes because of its low ratings. Important names such as Aras Aydın, Biran Damla Yılmaz, Özgür Çevik, Burcu Tuna, and Ezgi Şenler took part in this production. Although the series affected a wide audience, it was inevitable to be removed from the broadcast when the rating results were not sufficient.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

The Canevim series started as a summer series on ATV screens. When the series started, the ratings were far below expectations, and it could not recover in the following episodes. ATV, which entered the summer screen with drama instead of romantic comedy, decided to end the series with its 17th episode. Although the Canevim series managed to survive until the end of September in the 2019-2020 season, it did not go unnoticed that the character, script and event fiction of the series did not sit on solid foundations from the first day to the end of the 17th episode.

STORY:

The love story of Maraz Ömer and Ceylan is told. Maraz Ömer and Ceylan want to get married. However, since they are both poor, they have to earn money first. Ömer goes to another city to earn money, where he gets a job at a construction site. Maraz Ömer tries to earn money for the girl he loves. He meets Ceylan every day and takes longing. The two young people living with the dream of the day they will get married have no news of what will happen to them.

Ceylan also has to save money to get married. She also works to help Maraz Ömer. She starts cleaning the homes of the rich. But bad things happen to her in the house where she goes to work. A rich man named Taylan lives in one of the houses where Ceylan goes to clean. Taylan is a rich and cool guy who has got what he wants so far. When she sees Ceylan, he thinks that he will get her easily like other girls. Ceylan makes a couple of courtships, but Ceylan never approaches him, Ceylan’s eyes and hearts are on Maraz Ömer.

However, Taylan gets angry that Ceylan does not give a face and harasses him. Ceylan tries to resist this, but she cannot do anything at that moment. At the end of this incident that happened to Ceylan, she leaves the house immediately. She returns to the neighborhood crying she. But who can she tell what happened to her? What can she say? Ceylan is embittered because of this incident that happened to her. However, Taylan has more in mind.

PLACES:

Canevim TV series was shot in Istanbul. Some episodes of the series were shot in Beykoz and Balat, while the episodes with beach scenes were shot in Şile. Both the most luxurious districts and shantytowns of Istanbul were used as the shooting location in the series, where a story where the lives of two families, rich and poor, intersected.
