The young actress Ebru Şahin, who had a big break with the character of Reyyan she played in the TV series Hercai, is currently on the screen as Akkız of the popular ATV series Destan (meaning: Epic). The actress, who successfully portrays Akkız, who stands out as a female character, gives an example of a different struggle in the background for the series in which she shared the lead role with Edip Tepeli.

The actress, who took martial arts lessons for months for her role, does not interrupt her training throughout the shooting. The audience is excited to see that the actor makes a great return to the screen after Reyyan.

Ebru Şahin, who made her name known to the masses with Hercai, in which she took the leading role with Akın Akınözü, even though she took part in other TV series, reveals that she is not a series of fame with the epic series. The young actress does not spare any effort for her role and continues to work constantly behind the camera.

The period project Destan, which is among the most popular TV series of the season, does not leave the first place in the ratings on Tuesday evenings. Ebru Şahin talked about the preparations she made for the action scenes in her speech to Dizi TV program.

“Actually, we developed a completely different technique for Akkız together with our teachers. Ebru Şahin says, “There are so many movements unique to Akkız that no one has used or combined in this way before,” and states that she feels happy and lucky in this sense. Stating that she also enjoys doing the movements that are tried for the first time, the actress states that it is a very special feeling to take part in such scenes, especially as a female character.

In the Destan series, which is an impressive story, the action scenes and the excitement never end. The actress explains that they are constantly working on these scenes and continues as follows:

“I learn new techniques all the time, every day. We have rehearsals before the action scenes. What can we do, what can we add? We are trying to visualize it better. Our work continues constantly. Since I love to move, I don’t have much difficulty in action scenes. The thing I have the most difficulty with; I am fighting with myself, always to be able to convey better.”
