It was discussed that the actress, who worked in the Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir for two seasons in difficult conditions and in the harsh conditions of the winter months, wanted to return to Istanbul and that her departure from the series came to the fore. Gülsim Ali İlhan is currently preparing to come to the fore with another TV series after Gönül Dağı, which made an important breakthrough in her career.
The actress, who went to Bulgaria where her family lived in the summer season, said, “I was with my family this summer. I went to Bulgaria, they still live there. Gülsim Ali İlhan, who said, “It was good, I got my family back to the fullest”, spent a lot of time with her longing family while the series “Gönül Dağı” was going on.

Gülsim Ali İlhan and İlhan Şen will play the leading roles in the series, which will tell the life story of Selahaddin Eyyubi, known as the commander who put an end to the 88-year-old Crusader existence in Jerusalem.
Speaking about the project, İlhan said, “It is a very beautiful project, a very special project. A job that has never been done before in Turkey. The script came to us. We talked, but I don’t mean to say we’re 100% agreed at the moment. But it got me very excited. We also met with İlhan (Sen). He has a very nice energy, he is very sincere.”
Explaining that İlhan Şen was born and raised in Bulgaria like herself, Gülsim Ali İlhan added that the project, which is expected to have 30 episodes, excited her very much.
