NOW’s highly anticipated “Gizli Bahçe” series, produced by TMC Film and produced by Erol Avcı, starring Murat Yıldırım and Ebru Şahin, met with viewers on Tuesday evening. The strong wave of interaction towards the series, which has been ongoing on social media for weeks, continued to increase during the broadcast of the first episode.
While the story of the Gizli Bahçe series was appreciated, fans who were eagerly waiting for the lead actors shared thousands of comments. The series’ first episode also caused a strong support campaign on social media.
The lead actors of the series, Murat Yıldırım and Ebru Şahin, talked about the characters they portrayed and the series for the first time.
Murat Yıldırım, who plays the character of Demir, a famous architect in the series, stated that they will meet the audience with a series with very strong conflicts and said the following:
“The struggles of all the characters in their own stories are very impressive. The relationships between the characters are very realistic. The story is full of surprises. These were the ones that affected me the most.”
Yıldırım, who appeared before the camera in the enchanting city of Marrakesh in Morocco for Gizli Bahçe, describes the character he plays as follows: “Demir is a very successful architect living in Marrakesh. He left his family and moved away because he was not happy with them. He believes that children should be raised by the right people and he is sensitive about this issue. Although he keeps his distance from people, he is definitely a very sensitive person.”
Beautiful actress Ebru Şahin, who plays a strong, young and single mother in Gizli Bahçe, described Nazlı with the following words:
“Nazlı, who gets her will to remain strong and resilient despite financial difficulties and the troubles life brings from her son, is an independent and responsible mother who fights for Memo. The calmness and soft side she maintains against all the blows and difficulties turns her into a more fearless and tough person in matters concerning Memo.”
Describing the series as a warm and real project from real life, Şahin continued her words as follows:
“It brings together in one place the struggles of single mothers and mothers trying to survive without being crushed under the burden of life, the difficulties they experience without giving up on what is right, and the reproaches they can only make to themselves because of their loneliness. When I read this project, I saw the struggle of the women around me and in my own family, so it felt very close and real to me. Of course, I can’t say it exactly, but I can say that I especially loved Nazlı’s versatility and her effort not to choose the easy way, her understanding of charting her own path without bumping into people as someone who experienced it from a young age.”
The general plot of the series, which met with the audience with its first episode tonight, is as follows:
Nazlı (Ebru Şahin) is a poor, single and young mother living with her son Memo (Pamir Poyraz). When Memo’s powerful and rich uncle Demir Akçınar (Murat Yıldırım) learns that his deceased brother has a son, he goes after them to take care of Memo. The moment he learns about Nazlı’s profession, he will not allow his nephew to grow up with such a woman. He starts a great war to get Memo. Nazlı, who finds herself in this struggle, is not actually the person Demir thinks, she has a bigger secret. While Nazlı and Demir fight for Memo’s well-being, the games of the Akçınar family, secrets that have been kept for years and shadows from the past will make their war even more inextricable.
“Gizli Bahçe”, whose story is by Neşe Şen, script is by Emre Özdür and Hazar Kozice and director is Recai Karagöz, will continue to air on Now on Tuesday evenings.
