Masum is a crime drama about the extraordinary events surrounding a familiar Turkish family, and it carries a suspenseful pace and compelling editing. Retired police captain Cevdet and his wife peacefully live at a farm house far away from the city, until one night their younger son Tarik comes home bearing horrible news. He asks his parents for help when as a result of an argument between him and his wife, Tarik went hysterical and killed his wife. Cevdet is faced with two choices; doing the right thing by bringing his son to justice, or covering it up by using his professional expertise and saving his son. It is a hard choice for the captain, and his wife won’t let her son go to prison at all costs. As the story progresses we see that the murder is connected with a much more complicated chain of events. Not only their younger son, but also their older son has a hand in all this, and that Tarik’s wife is not the only one who was murdered…
