The US digital broadcasting platform Disney Plus is counting the days to start its broadcast in Turkey. The platform, which is preparing to enter the Turkish market like a bombshell, has so far made agreements with very famous names in Turkey, including Engin Akyürek, Can Yaman and Hande Erçel. Finally, the platform has included a well-loved master player.
Disney Plus currently broadcasts to more than 70 countries around the world. His latest project is Turkey. Disney Plus, which is getting ready to start broadcasting in Turkey in August, is expected to wipe out Netflix, which has so far reigned in Turkey.
The digital platform is still making agreements with the most famous names in Turkey. Disney Plus, which made its first deal with Engin Akyürek, then added names such as Aras Bulut İynemli, Can Yaman, Şahan Gökbakar, Pınar Deniz, Buğra Gülsoy, Demet Özdemir, İrem Helvacıoğlu, Hande Erçel to its staff.
Finally, the platform signed an agreement with a very famous name in Turkey. The master actor Halit Ergenç, who made his name known to the world with Suleiman the Magnificent, whom we watched in the last Babil TV series and portrayed in the Muhteşem Yüzyıl TV series, will also shoot a series for Disney Plus.
Halit Ergenç did not take part in any project after the Babil TV series. A few months ago, it was learned that the actor moved to London with his wife Bergüzar Korel and their three children. However, Halit Ergenç and Bergüzar Korel will come to Turkey when they have projects.
In the meantime, there is no information about the series that Halit Ergenç will shoot for Disney Plus. The shooting of Kaçış, the first Turkish series of the platform and starring Engin Akyürek and İrem Helvacıoğlu, continues in Gaziantep.
