The Üç Kuruş series, which started broadcasting on Show TV on Monday evenings, won the audience’s appreciation from the very first episode.
Alişan Uğur, who plays Konyalı, an expert on computers and illegal sites, in Üç Kuruş, starring Uraz Kaygılaroğlu and Ekin Koç, is also the son of famous musician and actor Özkan Uğur.
Üç Kuruş is not Alişan Uğur’s first acting experience. The young actor previously played the characters of Rich in Karakomik and pianist Efe in the Hekimoğlu series.
Alişan Uğur, the son of Özkan Uğur and the choreographer and director Aysun Aslan, who made Turkey’s name known to the world with his play ‘Ağır Roman’, is also closely related to music like his father.
Born in 1996, Alişan Uğur received his first acting training at the age of 14. Uğur, who went to Arts Educational Schools London in England to study acting and took music technologies and media lessons there, also received conservatory education.
Uğur, who studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for 6 months apart from acting, expressed his interest in art: “I was born in such a family; My father is a musician and my mother is a choreographer. The house was always full of art. Therefore, I could not be expected to be a professor of mathematics. Music and dance were in my life from an early age. I met the piano at the age of 8,” he says.
