Barış Kılıç, who plays the leading role in the TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti (Cranberry Sherbet) on Show TV, continues to be one of the favorite names of the audience with the character of Ömer in the last period. Barış Kılıç, who has a very successful partnership with Evrim Alasya in the story of the series, said that they somehow returned to their routine after the earthquake disaster and the shooting began on the set.
Barış Kılıç also mentioned that we are going through difficult times as a country and said: “We are going through tough times, but at the same time we have to start where we left off. Unfortunately, there was an earthquake again today. For the first two weeks, we were on the field as a whole team. We were in organizations. We tried to support the wounds of the people there.”
Thousands of buildings were destroyed and more than 44 thousand people lost their lives in two major earthquake disasters that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 9 hours apart.
We witnessed that there were more than 110 thousand injured and the lives of millions of people changed in an instant. Barış Kılıç also mentioned that they stopped working on the set and made an effort to provide assistance to the people in the region.
Expressing that they are trying to do their best, the famous actress stated that people should somehow return to their normal lives, but this can happen with time.
Barış Kılıç said, “Life is still difficult there. We are aware of that, we know. Hopefully, conditions will be provided for them to continue their lives as soon as possible.”
The famous actor also stated that everyone has experienced a great trauma and that he cannot help but think, “I wonder what we will become”.
There is a big earthquake expectation in Istanbul, and the famous actor explained that they both had their house checked for earthquakes and prepared an earthquake kit with the awareness of this.
Barış Kılıç stated that the earthquake is now in life and what happened in Kahramanmaraş has made everyone more conscious.
Addressing the authorities, Barış Kılıç added that attempts should be made to overcome this earthquake with the least damage as soon as possible.
Explaining that he was greatly disturbed by what happened on social media after the earthquake and that he was upset because of the posts of irresponsible people, Barış Kılıç said:
“How ugly it is to try to make it a race on social media, to try to take a side. So I hated it. I was also disgusted with social media in this process, I hated it. I was very frustrated.”
