Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam (I Can’t fit in this World) series is broadcast on ATV screens on Tuesday evenings and it draws attention as one of the effective debut projects of this season by getting successful ratings. One of the important roles in the story of the series was the character of Dumrul, played by Hakan Karahan.
The famous actor is now 62 years old, but those who see him on the screen think how effective he is in the fight scenes and that he fights very well despite his age. But there is a trick here. Cheating, which means a game made to deceive, is a word that can be used for these fight scenes of actors like Hakan Karahan.
Indeed, Hakan Karahan takes part in such action-packed fight scenes, but it is the professional fighting master who does the job there. In these fight scenes, the people in front of the famous actor are professionals and their job is to make the audience believe the fight scene.
Hakan Karahan explained this situation in the TV show, and the little trick about the fight scenes of the series Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam was also revealed.
Explaining that he has been actively doing Aikido for 26 years, Hakan Karahan said that he has a black belt and is at the 3rd dan level and explained the truth behind the scenes of such fight scenes with the following words:
“I have actively practiced Aikido for 26 years. Black belt, 3rd den. It’s the other person’s ability rather than me that makes me look good in action. There are extremely modern teams, who know martial arts. These guys come professionally. The choreography is already being prepared. We are doing our training. We complete this action by choosing moves that will not hurt an old person like me.”
