Kanal D’s new series Üç Sisters is getting ready to come to the screen with its first episode next week. Berker Güven, one of the young actors of the series, which will tell a warm family story in a small Aegean town, explained why he chose Üç Kız Kardeş among the offers he received.
Üç Kız Kardeş series, adapted from İclal Aydın’s novel of the same name, will meet with the audience on Tuesday, February 22, on Kanal D. In addition to İclal Aydın and Reha Özcan, the cast of the series includes Almila Ada, Melisa Berberoğlu and Berker Güven.
Berker Güven, one of the most successful young actors of the last period, who attracted attention with the character of İskender he portrayed in the latest Alev Alev series, will play Somer, the son of the richest family in the district, in Üç Kız Kardeş.
Berker Güven, who clinched his success with Alev Alev after his big break in his career with Vatanım Sensin and then Zalim İstanbul TV series, received many TV series offers due to his popularity recently. However, Confidence chose to favor Üç Kız Kardeş. The handsome actor explained why he chose this series with the following words:
“I wanted to act in this drama because our leading roles are women, our directors are women, and our producers are women. Our story is a woman-centered story. These were decisive for me in choosing this project.”
The story of the series, whose shooting continues in Ayvalık, takes place in the 90s. While Eda Teksöz sits in the director’s chair of the series, which is preparing to tell the story of the sisters Türkan, Döner and Derya, who are very connected to each other, the script is written by Betül Yağsağan.
