The actress took part in various theater plays when she lived in Ankara years ago, but she took a break from the stage when she came to Istanbul. Burcu Özberk expressed her longing for theater with her social media posts last week.
Yılmaz Erdoğan wrote his story; The theater play Aydınlıkevler, in which important names such as Demet Akbağ, Salih Bademci, Sinem Ünsal and Burak Dakak took part, was premiered. Burcu Özberk, who attended the gala and said that she was very impressed with the play, included the theater in her plans.
In her statement, the actress said: “I really want to do theatre. I have a few games in mind this summer, I hope I can do it.”
Burcu Özberk, who said that she could also take part in a musical and that everything could happen with education, reminded that she studied at the conservatory and said that if she works hard, she can take part in any kind of project.
The actress said, “It can be musical or theater. But I would like to do theater more,” she said. Burcu Özberk, who took part in theater plays during her years in Ankara, decided to return to the stage after many years.
The actress appeared on the same stage with Erdal Beşikçioğlu during her Ankara years. Burcu Özberk said that it would be very nice if she had come to Istanbul with those plays in Ankara.
After watching the play Aydınlıkevler, the actress’s appetite for the theater increased even more, and she definitely wants to be on the stage during the summer. The actress stated how much she missed the theater with the following post she made on March 27: “Happy March 27 World Theater Day! Greetings to those who yearn to go on stage.”
Reminding that they shot the last episodes of Aşk Mantık İntikam, the actress said, “We had a good season. I don’t do anything other than the drama, there is no time left,” she said.
