Turkey’s leading local online video platform BluTV’s new award-winning TV series Magarsus has arrived at the Berlin TV Series Festival. Magarsus, which is preparing to make a name for itself with its original story and successful cast, will meet with its audience on BluTV on August 10 with its first 2 episodes.

The unshakable power of Halil Kurak (Ercan Kesal), who monopolized the citrus trade in Sarıbahçe, is in danger, his nephew Beton (Berkay Ateş), his son Turgut (Çağlar Ertuğrul), who are waiting to take power in the family as well as the conflict of Kurak Tarım with fierce rivals, and his daughter Tansu (Merve Dizdar)’s conflict, the trailer created great excitement for Magarsus. The trailer of Magarsus, directed by Yunus Ozan Korkut, also attracted attention with its impressive images.

Successful Actors Together

In Magarsus, starring Berkay Ateş, Çağlar Ertuğrul and Merve Dizdar, the young actors are accompanied by the master actor Ercan Kesal. Ercan Kesal plays Halil Kurak, the founder of Kurak Tarım, who controls the entire citrus trade and order in Sarıbahçe; Berkay Ateş plays Halil Kurak’s nephew, who is also his right-hand man, Beton, while Çağlar Ertuğrul plays his impulsive and angry son, Turgut.

Merve Dizdar, on the other hand, plays Tansu, Halil Kurak’s daughter, who returns to Saribahce with the desire to study in America and turn Kurak Tarım into a modern and corporate structure.

The cast of the series also includes successful actors such as Burcu Shadowdar, Cem Bender, Mehmet Bozdoğan, Sümeyye Aydoğan, Menderes Samancılar, Uğur Uzunel, Kayhan Açıkgöz, Sezer Ariçay, Sekvan Serinkaya, Emel Atici and Murat Baykan.

Magarsus, directed by Yunus Ozan Korkut, produced by Yamaç Okur and Serkan Çakarer, and written by the director Yunus Ozan Korkut and Mustafa Yuruktümen, is at the 7th Berlin TV Series Festival, where international series producers and leading names of the industry come together. It was featured in the “Special Mention” of ‘Special Mention’ and received the “Stellar Cast Award”.

Magarsus is on BluTV with its first two episodes on August 10.
