The world-famous actress Tuba Büyüküstün, who finished the shooting of Another Self, shot for Netflix, was the guest of the “Alt Tarafı Bi’ Talk Show” with Kaan Sekban.
The beautiful star, who garnered sympathy with her sincere answers to Kaan Sekban’s questions, made a striking confession about the 20 dakika TV series broadcast on Star TV in 2013, in which she shared the lead role with İlker Aksum.
Tuba Büyüküstün stated that the TV series 20 dakika stood in a special place for her and said, “20 dakika was one of the best serials ever made, but I think it didn’t get the attention it deserved at that time. During my role in 20 dakika, there were many columns about “how bad an actress I am”.
I even came to the point of “If I’m that bad, I’ll quit this job”. Afterwards, my nomination for Best Actress at the 42nd International Emmy Awards for my performance in the TV series 20 dakika was a slapstick response to these criticisms.
Talking about the convenience of shooting projects on digital platforms, the actress said, “I know that I worked 36 hours without sleeping on TV in 2006-2007-2008. There is a 12-hour rule on the digital platform, that’s what it should be, we can allocate time to our own lives,” she said.
Saying that the pandemic was very good for her, Tuba Büyüküstün said, “I am a person who likes to live and act alone anyway. Before the pandemic, my loneliness was very strange to people, after the pandemic I stopped being weird. I gave psychological support to many of my friends during this period,” he said.
Noting that he was more active on social media during the pandemic period, the actress said, “Still, the virtual world is not a very self-contained world, but I still pull myself together.”
