Destan, which is an extremely difficult production, is the result of intense research and work. For the shooting of the series, the Gök Khanate Palace and gardens were built on an area of 20 thousand square meters in Bozdağ Film Plateau, in accordance with the Asian Turkish architecture of the period. Within the scope of the Gök Khanate Palace, the palace reception room and living rooms for the members of the dynasty took place in a closed area of 4,500 square meters in the Beykoz Shoe Factory.
While 5.300 pieces of accessories, items, swords, spears, shields and objects belonging to the period were produced, 125 pieces of costumes were prepared for the players, and a total of 8,115 pieces of costumes were prepared for the assistants and other players. While the behind-the-scenes team of the Destan series consisted of 235 people, 4,500 supporting actors took part in the shooting of the first episode of the series.
