Preparations for the opening of the digital broadcasting platform Disney Plus are in full swing. The platform will say hello to the Turkish audience on June 14. Disney Plus will also bring a foreign TV series that created a big event back to the audience.

Drawing attention with the agreements it has made one after the other with Turkey’s highest-rated actors, Disney Plus will once again present to the audience the Lost series, which once took a storm not only in Turkey but also all over the world.

The first episode of the US-made Lost series was first broadcast in September 2004. The series came to the screen as six seasons and 121 episodes and said goodbye to the screens in May 2010. The Lost series, which created great excitement for the audience with each episode, took its place among the unforgettable productions.

The main story of the series, which is about the stories of the survivors who crashed on a mysterious island in the South Pacific as a result of the crash of a passenger plane flying from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, United States, took place on the island.

However, there were also side stories about another event in the life of each character. Due to the transition between the times, Lost had a very different and complex fictional structure. With this feature, the series brought a new wind to the world of the series when it was broadcast.

Lost is also considered one of the most expensive productions in television history. Lost, which received positive reviews and became a popular success, had an average of 15.69 million viewers per episode aired on ABC since its first year.

Awarded for “best drama series” at the 2005 Emmy Awards, for “best American import” at the 2005 British Academy Television Awards, for “best drama” at the 2006 Golden Globe Awards, and for “best drama” at the 2006 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The series, which received awards in the category of “Best Drama Series”, was awarded many other awards.

Disney Plus will begin broadcasting in Turkey on June 14. In addition, Disney+ has determined the membership fee in Turkey as 34.99 TL per month or 349.90 TL per year.
