MIPCOM, the world’s most important TV series content fair, took place in Cannes, France. One of the most interesting projects at the fair, attended by television executives from all over the world, was ATV’s new series Destan.
Destan, which was screened for the first time at this fair, was purchased by Pakistani television channel PTV. Thus, the Destan series, which has not yet started to be broadcast in Turkey, will be broadcast in Pakistan shortly after Turkey.
Meanwhile, Noor Play, one of the biggest platforms in the Arab world, announced that it had bought the series and shared the Arabic poster and trailer of the series with its audience. The epic series is expected to attract great attention in the Arab world.
Production and project design belongs to Mehmet Bozdağ; directed by Emir Khalilzadeh; Ebru Şahin, Selim Bayraktar and Edip Tepeli play the leading roles in “Destan”, the screenplay of which was written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Nehir Erdem.
The Destan series, whose broadcast date has not yet been announced, is also eagerly awaited in Turkey. Ebru Şahin will portray the character of Akkız in the series whose story takes place in the 8th century. Especially the action scenes with Ebru Şahin have already attracted great attention.
