Eylül Tumbar, who attracted attention with her character Alize in the TRT1 TV series called Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz (Own Fallen Don’t Crying), became one of the best female actresses of the summer period.
The actress, who attracted the attention of the audience with the character of Bambi in the TV series Biz Kimden Kaçıyorduk Anne (Who we were running from), published on Netflix, is taking part in a television project for the first time.
Eylül Tumbar, who took on an important responsibility by taking the lead role in her first project, said that the rapidly coming fame did not affect her much.
In her interview with the Hürriyet newspaper, Eylül Tumbar said, “I don’t think fame has much of a feeling,” and that she doesn’t quite understand what it’s like to be recognized.
Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz stands out as an entertaining family comedy. Standing out with its high ratings compared to the summer season, the series managed to impress a wide audience.
The fact that she attracted the attention of millions in her first television series brought an important recognition opportunity for Eylül Tumbar.
The actress gave the following answer to a question asked about how effective beauty was in her taking the lead role:
“One has to have beauty and especially an aura to nurture the character. Because people watch what feels good and sincere to them. But I don’t think that’s the whole point. I can say that the effect of beauty is half. As the audience gets to know you, they want to watch Eylül or that character, not beauty.”
Explaining that she has no aesthetics and does not think about having it done, the young actress also talked about the comments made about her nose.
Eylul Tumbar said that she received feedback such as “I couldn’t watch it through my nose” and that when she looked at such comments, she was impressed by them and gave the right to those who had plastic surgery. “So I think everyone should do whatever they feel good about,” the actress said.
