Akın Akınözü, who made a throne with the character of Miran Aslanbey in the Hercai series broadcast on ATV, is experiencing the excitement of meeting with his fans again with the TV series “Kaderimin Oyunu”, which started to be broadcast on Star TV.
Akın Akınözü, who shared the lead role with Öykü Karayel in the series, made an interesting statement about his partner in an interview with Hakan Gence from Hürriyet Pazar. Turns out, the actor’s dream was to share the lead role with Öykü Karayel when the script of Kaderimin Oyunu was first presented. The handsome actor said the following in the interview;
“When I read the project, I saw Öykü in the character of Asiye. I couldn’t think of any other alternative. I shared this with my manager Günfer (Günaydın). It turns out that at that time, he had already reached the signing point with Öykü. I had the opportunity to be a partner in this project with a name that I felt so deeply. So this is the game of my destiny.”
The actress, whose fame has crossed the borders of the country and has many fans in Spain and Latin America, also told in the interview that she was overweight in the past. Akın Akınözü to Hakan Gence’s question, ‘Have you always been this handsome?’ “I was always at peace with myself. It’s the same at this time, I was like that when I was 120 kg in high school years. I didn’t have a problem with the man I was looking at in the mirror, I was peaceful but a little lazy.
I thought it was time to show the will of action necessary to take care of my health and get rid of some of my excesses. At that time, it gave me habits such as sports and conscious nutrition, which I still continue. But most importantly, everything is possible with a strong will to action”.
Akın Akınözü, who actually studied Mathematics, said that he later decided to become an actor; “When I was studying applied math at UC Berkeley, I started questioning what I really wanted. I think a person is close to stepping into life, entering into questions such as ‘what do I really want’.
There, I had the opportunity to make these inquiries within myself, away from external voices. I thought about my possible job areas after applied mathematics. One of them was investment banking, and that didn’t excite me at all. Thanks to some elective courses I took at that time, I also became interested in art.
And I realized that there is also mathematics in art and problems to be solved. Solving these problems required mental, spiritual, emotional and physical effort. This situation got me very excited, and I set out with that fuel.”
