HISTORY
The series was adapted from Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's novel, published in 1899. It's about the forbidden love of two people who live in the same house in Istanbul and the life around them.
Adnan Bey, one of the few wealthy people in Istanbul, stayed with his children Nihal and Bülent after his wife İnci, whom he loved very much, died. He has his second marriage to Bihter, who is younger than him. However, the irresistible attraction between Bihter and his nephew Behlül will lead to days of intrigue in his mansion.
The series focuses on Bihter Yöreoğlu, who married Adnan Bey after her father's death, and on the forbidden love she had with her husband's spiritual nephew, Behlül.
Bihter and Behlül, who is a fun student at the university, have a secret relationship with Adnan and other people who live at home. Mademoiselle De Courton (Deniz), Firdevs Yöreoğlu, Peyker Önal, Nihal Ziyagil and Bülent Ziyagil and others are involved in their lives and dramatic events.
SPACE
The series takes place in Istanbul. A three-story, ten-bedroom villa in Rahmi Koç was rented out to the Ziyagil family home.
