The new project of Ebru Şahin, who made a breakthrough with the character of Reyyan, played in the TV series Hercai, which was broadcast on TRT 1 and made its finale recently, has been announced. The series to be broadcast on ATV will be a historical production.
It was said that Ebru Şahin, who had a big boom in her career with Hercai, had been meeting with production companies for a big production for a while. However, until now, there was no definite information about the new project of the young actress. The expected news was given by Journalist Birsen Altuntaş. According to the information Altuntaş gave in her column on TV 100, Ebru Şahin’s new project has been announced.
Accordingly, Ebru Şahin will be on ATV screens in the new season. The name of the series to be shot by Bozdağ Film, which has produced giant productions such as Diriliş Ertuğrul and Kuruluş Osman, will be Akkız Epic. The series will tell the epic love story of an orphaned girl from a mountain tribe and the helpless son of a khan, who lived in Central Asia in the period before the Turks converted to Islam in the 9th century.
The script of the series will be written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Sedef Nehir Erdem, who signed the TV series Sen Anlat Karadeniz and Sefirin Kızı. Its director will be Emir Khalilzadeh.
The male actor of the series is not yet known. Negotiations are ongoing to determine the name. The shooting of the Akkız epic series will begin in July.
