The series İyilik (Goodness), aired on Friday evenings on Fox TV by Medyapım, is getting ready to meet its audience with its third episode this week. Hatice Şendil, İsmail Demirci and Sera Kutlubey share the lead roles in the series directed by Murat Öztürk and written by Özge Korkmaz.
Özgür Çevik, who had a big break in his first project with the Yabancı Damat (Foreign Groom) series and then took part in many successful projects, strengthened the cast of the series with his participation in the last episode of the İyilik series, which also includes Perihan Savaş. Thus, Özgür Çevik, who has been taking a break from the sets for a while, appears before his fans with another drama project.
However, due to its scenes full of bad examples such as intrigue, evil, deception, and lies, the TV series İyilik receives a lot of criticism and comments on social media.
Despite such a reaction, the series managed to increase its ratings in the second episode aired last Friday evening.
İyilik, which was compared to the Yasak Elma with its scenes full of intrigue in its story from the promotional videos before it began airing, received below average ratings with its first episode.
But with the second episode, the series increased its ratings and increased hopes. There is a lot of talk about the forbidden relationship between the characters played by İsmail Demirci and Sera Kutlubey.
Returning to the sets a year later after his influential performance in Kuzey Yıldızı, actor İsmail Demirci used the following statements in an interview he gave about the character he gave life to in the series “İyilik”;
“The conflict within the character is very strong. This is how I look at things while evaluating and accepting them. I look at the character’s own inner conflict. That’s too much, and there’s even more of a conflict than necessary. Because a man from a middle-class family who suddenly became a CEO is not an easy thing to remove. It’s fun to play this one.”
According to İsmail Demirci’s statements, it is understood that the story will become more active and the dosage of intrigue will increase a little more in the next parts of the series. When it comes to the way TV series such as Sadakatsiz (Unfaithful) and Yasak Elma (Forbidden Apple) use social values in our country and the public’s curiosity about such matters, it will not be a surprise that the ratings are increasing.
