The actor, who is determined to continue his acting profession until his death, and who thinks that it is wrong to give too much meaning to the world we live in, has taken part in very different roles from the character of İbrahim in the Karadayı series to these days. When we started working in Gaziantep, we did not think that we would get 15 ratings in 2 months. Because those ratings are huge. I think it’s like 30 ratings compared to the past. A huge rating, of course we did not expect this much. But we knew that our work would be good and successful. Because mathematics is a very accurate and neat job. When you read the script, it’s a job where you say ‘this will work’.”
When asked why he wanted to be in this business when he first read the script, Diren Polatoğulları pointed out the importance of the script.
Stating that the story of the series should be at a point that can make him dream, the actor said, “I loved the character, he has flaws, he is a family man. At first he seemed like a very psychopathic man. But it is not. When you look at it, there are many such people in our society, I see a lot. Someone with whom you have a good conversation on the street and who makes you laugh can do different things at home.”
Diren Polatoğulları, who said that he saw and experienced so many people like Kazım and that the character overlapped with current life, said that for this reason Kazım Ağa was loved very much in the story.
