OVERALL IMPRESSION:

The series Kurşun made an assertive introduction to the screens, which tells the story of a prosecutor and journalist seeking justice in Istanbul in the 1970s. Especially the fans of Engin Altan Düzyatan and Burçin Terzioğlu waited eagerly for the series. However, the series could not achieve the desired success in the ratings and 7 episodes were broadcast and made the final.

The wonderful performance of Engin Altan Düzyatan, who appeared on the screens as Prosecutor Orhan Atmaca, was remembered. At that time, some TV critics made comments that the chemistry of Engin Altan Düzyatan and Burçin Terzioğlu did not match. PLACES:

Kurşun was shot in Istanbul. The Old Shoe Factory in Beykoz was used as a film set. Since the series is a period series, a special study has been done to remind the 1970s. A special area of 3000 square meters was created and the neighborhood where the series was shot was painted using 3.5 tons of paint. In addition, a completely new plateau was established with 6000 iron profiles, 1000 meters of fabric and 40 cubic meters of wood material.

The scenes of the Istanbul Courthouse were shot in the building behind the Ibrahim Pasha Palace in Sultanahmet Square. Journalist Leyla’s father Nuri Karg’s house by the sea was located in Beykoz.

GENERIC:

The soundtrack of the Kurşun Series bears the signature of the famous musician Timur Selçuk. The song “Sen Neredesin” in the generic music also got full marks from the audience.
