Merve Boluğur, who took a break from acting, decided to follow in the footsteps of her ex-wife!

Actress Merve Boluğur, who became famous with Acemi Cadı series published in 2006, has not been involved in any project for a long time. Merve Boluğur, who has been away from the screens after the TV series İçimdeki Fırtına, in which she starred in 2017, has been coming to the fore with her social media posts for a while.

The actress, who gave an interview to Şebnem Ber from Acunn.com, announced that she will continue her career as a singer. Merve Boluğur, who was married for only one year with singer Murat Dalkılıç, whom she married in 2017, will follow her ex-husband’s path.

Merve Boluğur stated that she started writing lyrics while sitting at home; “I want to do something with music. I discovered a talent that I was not aware of before. One day, while sitting at home, I started writing lyrics.

It was very bad at first and I started to compare myself, saying, ‘This is not as good as Yıldız Tilbe, not as good as Sezen Aksu’. I decided to find my own style and as Merve, I started to write beautiful words that brought out my free, feminine side and my sexuality. What I wrote takes a toll on me now,” she said.

Boluğur said that she also likes her voice; “I have a good voice myself. Even though I don’t want to share too many details right now, it’s time to take action. A song will come from me in 2022. My priority is to shoot the clip. That’s what I’m really excited about. My aesthetic aspect is very high,” she explained.

Merve Boluğur will now use her acting side in the clips she will shoot for the lyrics she wrote. Drawing attention with the words “Actually, I will transfer my experience about acting to this job”, the actress said, “I will be independent in the video I will shoot myself. I’ll show you all my skills. For example, I’m told ‘you don’t have makeup’ in Youtube videos. Yes, no. I wear zero make-up around the house. I missed that freedom,” she said.
