Famous actor Özcan Deniz was the guest of Yekta Kopan on the bein Connect platform. Explaining that his dream of cinema started from a young age, Özcan Deniz gave important information about himself.
Özcan Deniz, who started his career with music, then stepped into acting and then produced various productions as a director, has successfully continued to be a versatile name over the years. Özcan Deniz, who was born in Ankara in 1972, has also taken steps in acting since 1995. Özcan Deniz, who has appeared in various movies, was also remembered as a TV actor with the TV series Asmalı Konak.
The TV series “Haziran Gecesi”, “Karagül”, “Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün” and “İstanbullu Gelin” were also processed into his career as unforgettable TV series featuring Özcan Deniz.
Özcan Deniz, who took the lead role in the TV series Seni Çok Bekledim (I Waited for You) last year, took part with İrem Helvacıoğlu, but his project, which he cherished, could only continue for 13 episodes.
Talking about his passion for cinema in his childhood, Özcan Deniz said, “It is interactive with the screen, the audience fighting, reacting, crying, those emotions. This is the influence from my childhood. From the age of 10, my whole dream was to deal with cinema. It was to enter the cinema, but I neither know the way nor there is a system in Aydın where I am, that will pass me there.”
Explaining that he started to earn money professionally as a singer at the age of 11, Özcan Deniz said that it was good for his and that he joined a theater group in Aydın and continued his journey of both singing and acting together.
The actor said, “This is my destiny, all my life the two of them have been walking side by side. I couldn’t prevent it,” he said.
Özcan Deniz, who gave a concert in Munich, Germany during his adolescence, stated that he realized what a great thing he had done later. Stating that he understood from the reactions on the street that he had become a popular person at that time, Özcan Deniz said, “We understood what the job was that day.”
Özcan Deniz, who gained great popularity with the character of Seymen Karadağ in the TV series Asmalı Konak, published in 2002, and realized how large an audience he had with the tours organized to the set of the series, gave the following information about that period:
“It has become a tourist attraction. Tourism agencies have started to organize tours to Cappadocia. I have a memory, I got on a plane and I’m coming to Istanbul on the night that Asmalı Konak will be published. The plane landed and said, ‘I have brought you to Asmalı Konak’. Applause broke out on the plane. I experienced such interesting things.”
