Successful actress Songül Öden has been living the brightest days of her career lately. The actress, who received great praise for her performance in the Uysallar series broadcast on Netflix, signed her second series project with Disney Plus.
Songül Öden played the leading role in the remarkable TV series Uysallar, directed by Onur Saylak. The successful actress, who attracted attention with her performance in this series, immediately came to the agenda again by shaking hands with the Atatürk series to be shot for Disney Plus. Öden will play her mother, Zübeyde Hanım, in the series where Aras Bulut İynemli will portray Atatürk.
Songül Öden, who signed with Disney Plus, which will start broadcasting in Turkey on June 14, made a new series agreement with the platform shortly after. The successful actress will share the lead role with Halit Ergenç in the TV series Nomen. Öden will play Ergenç’s wife in the series.
While Zafer Külünk is writing the script for the Nomen series, which draws attention with its extraordinary story, he will direct it with Fatih Kızılgök. The character, who will come to the fore with his invention due to his illness in the series, will be able to communicate with his wife by telepathic method.
It was previously agreed with Melis Sezen for the series. Melis Sezen, who made a big leap in her career with the character Derin played in the TV series Sadakatsiz (Unfaithful), was not informed about the character she will play in the TV series Nomen. However, it is stated that the Nomen series, which is under preparation, is approaching the shooting stage.
The Atatürk series is expected to meet the audience in 2023, the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic.
