Actress Funda Eryiğit, who shared the lead role with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ in the movie Nuh Boğuldu directed by Onur Saylak, gave an interview to Alem Magazine. The actress, who was in front of the lens for the magazine, made candid statements in the interview.

Despite being in front of the cameras for many years, the actress, who balances her relationship with fame very well and draws attention with her distanced stance from the tabloid press, explained the secret of this with the following words;

“I chose to reveal myself through my profession. I followed the life I wanted, and a very important part of it was acting, not fame. Recognition has been a result of my work over time. And that provided a nice balance in my life.”

Funda Eryiğit said that the biggest motivation for acting is to explore; “Following human things; For some reason, trying to understand, empathize and try to convey motivates me.

When I sense something to tinker with, explore in a character or a story, I am spontaneously enthusiastic. I don’t get carried away with the character, but when I hear the word “Cut”, everything doesn’t end all of a sudden, it just keeps floating around in my mind or if it’s an intense scene, it can still feel.”

Funda Eryiğit, who shared the same stage with Hazar Ergüçlü in the theater play called Crocodile Fire, said the following about her new play and her partner;

“It’s a game that we love to play. It is also very nice to be with Kubilay (Tunçer) and Hazar.

It’s nice to be together on stage and backstage. As time passes, we become a duo that understands and listens to each other more. We can share our ideas casually, manage each other, and motivate each other when appropriate. I think these are important things to feel comfortable on stage.”
