Tansel Öngel broke new ground in his career with Hayat Bugün!

Tansel Öngel is one of the leading actors in the TV series Hayat Bugün (Life Today), which is broadcast on Show TV on Wednesday evenings. This new project was a first in his career for the actor who played the character of cardiovascular surgeon Aras in the series.

Stating that she appeared before the audience for the first time with the character of a doctor, Tansel Öngel was very impressed by the struggle of the doctors while preparing for the character of Aras Erdem. The actor aid, “During the preparation process, I witnessed with my own eyes how hard the doctors worked to restore the health of other people, how much they had to know, and how quickly they acquired each new information. Being a doctor is a very valuable profession,” he said.

Reminding that the series was adapted to the conditions of Turkey by the screenwriters, Tansel Öngel mentioned that they revealed the story, which is based on doing good to people, with a very strong cast.

The actor said of the series: “There is a group of doctors and they come together with an idealism based on doing good to people and they become a strong team. A unique project; our directors Çiğdem Bozali and Elif Akarsu are very talented. Behind the camera, we became a non-judgmental and loving team that loved each other. I think we reflected that on the screen.”

Explaining that everyone on the set is a master of their job, the actor said that they both had fun and continued shooting with a high level of joy.

Expressing that Doctor Aras Erdem is different from all of the roles he has played so far, the actor also explained that the struggle of the doctors affected him a lot while he was preparing.

Tansel Öngel, who mentioned that she experienced a first in his career because he played a doctor for the first time, explained that he felt lucky with the following words:

“During the preparation process, I spent time with doctors in hospitals and saw how we could progress in this drama and how I could progress in my role. That’s why I feel very lucky because we had a very good preparation process.”
