OVERALL IMPRESSION:
The Angels received a lot of attention from the audience during the period when it was broadcast on Show TV. The series brought together many beloved actors from today’s famous but not well-known young generation such as Özge Özpirinçci, Selin Şekerci and Rojda Demirer, and experienced actors including Hümeyra, Avni Yalçın and Yıldız Kültür. With this feature, it managed to gather both the young generation and the adult segment per screen and was watched with love. Reruns of The Angels were also broadcast on Fox TV and 360 TV.
STORY:
İpek Taşkır is a 17-year-old girl living with her mother in Ayvalık district of Balıkesir. Since her husband Kemal and her eldest daughter died, protecting İpek was the primary goal for her mother Melek Taşkır. Melek is an authoritarian mother who tries to protect her daughter from all kinds of evil. İpek, who won the Department of Nursing, wants to go to Istanbul and study acting.
Melek would consent to go to Istanbul as a result of the insistence of her daughter, who previously did not allow her. Melek and İpek have never left Balıkesir. Melek, who sells her tailor shop and house in Balıkesir, comes to Istanbul with her daughter İpek, knowing that a big city like Istanbul is full of evil.
Her only goal is to protect her daughter from evil and see her graduate from school. They come to Istanbul and rent a house with Kehribar Dibek and her daughter Mualla Dibek. Salih Meneviş, the host, is their neighbor. Salih is someone who is divorced from his wife and lives with his son Deniz.
A very good person, retired teacher Salih always helps Melek and İpek in their difficult situations. They become the closest friends and confidants of student Esin Kömürcü and Özgür Çelikli İpek, who are their upper neighbors.
İpek, who is in love with her teacher Erkan Tülek, who lives in the same apartment, is very upset when she comes out with her friend Esin. She also tries to stay friends with Barış Üstünkaya, who is in love with her.

PLACES:
The series The Angels was shot in the 100-year-old Italian Apartment in Kadıköy. The apartment, built by employees at Haydarpaşa Train Station, is also one of the first social residences built in Istanbul. Four flats were used for shooting in the apartment, where shooting was held six days a week.
