Alp Arslan series, which is the continuation of Uyanış Büyük Selçuklu, is one of the most ambitious TV series of TRT1 in the new season. The preparations for the series, which brings the duo of Barış Arduç and Fahriye Evcen together in the lead roles, continue at an intense pace.
The story that will run backwards from the Uyanış Büyük Selçuklu will tell about Sultan Alp Arslan, the father of Sultan Melikşah. Naturally, the story will go backwards and this brings a significant challenge for the director… However, the project was entrusted to a very ambitious director.
The first season of the Ramo series did not go well and Mehmet Çağatay Tosun was appointed as the director of the series in the second season. As Murat Yıldırım often emphasizes, Çağatay Tosun has done a very successful job. Murat Yıldırım, who also worked with the same director in the Suskunlar series, often praised the famous director in the posts he made on his Instagram account.
Çağatay Tosun’s success was one of the most decisive issues in the Ramo series’ revival in the second season and affecting a wide audience.
A new cast is being formed for the Alp Arslan series. Apart from Fahriye Evcen and Barış Arduç, Mehmet Özgür and Mim Kemal Öke, who came from the first term, will also take their place with the new team.
Mehmet Çağatay Tosun has been directing since 2005. Tosun, who directed the TV series Kırık Kanatlar, Köprü, Suskunlar, Merhamet, Acı Aşk, Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem, Dip, Muhteşem İkili, Kardeş Çocukları is now continuing a great preparation for Alp Arslan.
