The new Fox TV series, Hayatımın Şansı (The Chance of My Life), was on the screen with its first episode last Wednesday. The series, starring Şifanur Gül and Alican Yücesoy, has an effective story. The story of a woman’s changing life with an offer she received during her struggle to hold on to life with her little daughter.
Şifanur Gül, after completing the shooting of the Netflix series Terzi (Tailor), in which she played the leading role with Çağatay Ulusoy, became the leading actress of the project “Hayatımın Şansı”.
Şifanur Gül is one of the young faces that the audience wants to see on the screen and said that everything went well on the set. The actress said, “I am very excited,” and stated that her first lead project on television gave her a brand new excitement.
Yonca character is someone who goes to her own head. Şifanur Gül said about her character: “She is a character who goes to her head, stands behind her own truth, is convinced of them blindly, and nobody can stop her. She has a problem, she can do anything for her. Courageous, strong, not a character we don’t know much. One of us.”
The character of Yonca is in a great chaos in the series and this situation will continue for a while. Giving information about the upcoming episodes of the series, the actress said, “Yonca is still in chaos in the episodes we read. It didn’t come out, we didn’t see anything to get out. I don’t know how it will turn out either. It will be difficult, people will probably go crazy,” she said.
Playing the role of mother was not difficult for the actress. Şifanur Gül, who stated that she is in motherhood as something that comes with being a woman, said:
“I didn’t have much difficulty in catching this situation. It didn’t seem very far to me. On the one hand, it is very enjoyable. Sometimes I find myself understanding my mother. So it is an enjoyable journey. Child energy is good for me.”
