A patient who was impressed by the organ donation scene of the Yargı gave hope to Kenan Kayaalp, who has been receiving treatment for 35 years, with the kidney he donated before his death.

In the 74th episode of the Yargı series broadcast on Kanal D on Sunday evenings, a father whose son is waiting for an organ transplant; Unable to bear the pain he experienced any longer, he kidnapped Ceylin, Yekta and Parla in order to make his voice heard. After this incident, Parla empathized with the grieving father and announced that she would donate her organs. This scene on the screen once again drew attention to the importance of organ donation.

A spectator who was very impressed by the images and became ill told his family that he wanted to donate his organs. That volunteer, who passed away and whose name was not disclosed, donated his kidney to Kenan Kayaalp, who had been treated for kidney disease for 35 years.

Kenan Kayaalp, who has been struggling with kidney disease for 35 years, received a kidney transplant hours before the new year, Okan University Hospital Organ Transplantation Department Head Prof. Dr. Alp Gürkan, It was carried out in a successful operation under the leadership.

Kenan Kayaalp, a 49-year-old patient who underwent organ transplantation, said, “My disease started when I was 16 years old. I have been a kidney patient for 35 years. “This transplant was a New Year’s gift to me” said.

Evaluating the operation performed at Okan University Hospital in Tuzla, Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Alp Gürkan said:

One of our patients made a will to his family after watching the TV series Yargı. Unfortunately, that patient passed away after a while. His family also easily donated his organs. Our transplanted patient, Mr. Kenan, is a patient who has been on dialysis for 35 years. After this incident, we implanted the kidney in him. His condition is getting better now.

Drawing attention to the importance of organ transplantation, Prof. Dr. Alp Gürkan said, “We need to make a will to our family on this matter: donate your organs when you die so that at least five people can hold on to life.” he said.

The Yargı will continue to air on Kanal D with its new episodes on Sunday evenings.
