Famous actor Bartu Küçükçağlayan was the guest of popular actors Meriç Aral and Efe Tunçer’s youtube program. The actor, who confessed that he had problems due to his long surname, also told about his unpleasant experience in Muhteşem Yüzyıl series.
Bartu Küçükçağlayan said, “I had a lot of difficulties with my last name. Especially in exams, I had a hard time because of my last name. While people were on the second question, I was still coding my last name. The letters are very similar to each other. Now my wife Merve has also joined me. We share that too.”
Bartu Küçükçağlayan, who appeared to have received an offer from the TV series Muhteşem Yüzyıl years ago, unfortunately had a great misfortune. The actor, who studied the tirade given to him and then went to the audition, encountered an unexpected surprise. The famous actor described the painful experience of Muhteşem Yüzyıl series as follows:
“A very long tirat came to me. I worked for days to memorize it. When I went on the audition day, the director stopped me saying that we had not considered you for this role. Afterwards, they gave a tirade about the role they called me, I worked there, I entered, but of course it didn’t work.”
Explaining that being confused with Enis Arıkan also put his friend in a lot of trouble for a while, the actor said, “When they saw Enis Arıkan, they thought it was me and had a photo taken. Thank God he became more famous and got rid of it,” he said.
