“The character Levent Kulpa that I played in Hudutsuz Sevda is from the Black Sea region. When I was asked to act in broken Turkish instead of a full accent, I prepared for the role by listening to Ekrem İmamoğlu. İmamoğlu is in my ear, I clean and cook at home. Then I caught his rhythm. It is never a one-to-one imitation. I used the melody of his speech.
My wife and I met on social media. She had watched my movies before and had an incredible sympathy for me. That’s why she followed me, and I was very interested in her beauty and the fact that she is a scientist and I followed her back. She is working on finding a cure for prostate cancer at Koç University. She is even currently flirting with Harvard.
