As September approaches, news from new TV series continues to come quickly. New TV series projects are being implemented, actors are selected and preparations are being made for shooting. In other words, the traffic in the world of TV series is quite heavy right now. Within this intensity, the news came that a new adaptation series would begin.
The name of the show is The Split. The British TV series was written by Abi Morgan. The subject of the series, which was broadcast in the UK in 2016 as 12 episodes, is as follows:
The Split tells the story of three sisters with different personalities who go through their divorce cases. While trying to keep up with the fast pace of London, the three sisters work day and night to win their cases.
The brothers’ lives are turned upside down when their father, whom they have not heard from for 30 years, appears. Reuniting years later, the father and daughters are forced to confront the past.
Law series is a genre that we often see abroad, but not very common in Turkey. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that it will be a first for the Turkish TV series world.
The Turkish name of the series has not been determined yet. However, one of the leading roles has been finalized. Gökçe Bahadır, who has not been seen on the screens for a long time, and who last appeared in front of her fans in 2018 with the series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler will return to the screen with the Turkish adaptation of The Split.
It is stated that Yiğit Kirazcı and Sumru Yavrucuk will accompany Gökçe Bahadır in the series to be directed by Yusuf Pirhasan. Filming will begin in August.
