Özge Gürel, who plays the character of Canan, is the anti-terrorism commissioner and received weapons training before the role. The famous actress said, “The most effective part for me was the point of view of our screenwriter. Secondly, the justice system that Canan character really established in her own world, her ability to direct her anger correctly, I think the character impressed me a lot.”
With these words, the famous actress explained how important the sense of justice is and that it guides her in the decision-making process. In the social sense, we see that the rising sense of seeking justice and providing real justice in Turkey in recent years has also affected Özge Gürel and she especially wants to portray a character who stands out with the justice system she has established in her own world.
Özge Gürel, who admitted that she was nervous at first because she took part in a detective series for the first time, explained that the character made her curious with the following words:
“It was the first time I used a gun, the first time I worked for action scenes. In fact, the feeling of curiosity lies at the heart of acting. It is a very important character to attract our curiosity and excitement. Kanan, that’s what happened to me. That’s why this process was so enjoyable. Thanks to Canan, I was able to deal with many subjects that I was very curious about and wanted to deal with. We went through very good training and processes.”
Özge Gürel, who mentioned that these trainings created a clear perception in her, added that the character of Canan created awareness in herself and that she could now look at life in a different way by being selective in perception.
