Devrim Özkan, who is 24 years old, takes place as the leading female actor in the series Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi (Come life at it Knows), which is broadcast on Show TV. The famous actress, who had a rapid rise in her career, which she started in 2017, found herself on the sets while she wanted to be a veterinarian in her childhood.
Devrim Özkan, who is conducting a very successful partnership process with Ertan Saban in the series, stated that she has a weakness for animals. Explaining that she was thinking of becoming a veterinarian for this reason, the actress also explained that she did Judo during her childhood.
Explaining that due to a traffic accident at the age of 12, the fibers in her leg were torn from her knee to her ankle, the actress said that for this reason she could not do athletics and continued judo.
Explaining that the accident was a heavy process for her, the actress shared the following details: “A bus came from our opposite direction, my father broke it and my legs were against the glass. The bus hit my legs. I took the heaviest damage. I couldn’t walk for a month. My life was over, everything was going so badly. I was very much in love with athletics, I had dreams. Maybe it caused something good.”
If Devrim Özkan had not been an actress, she could have been a judo instructor. Özkan said, “I wanted to be a veterinarian. I have a weakness for animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian very much, but since judo is also in my life, I was torn between whether I should be a trainer or a veterinarian.”
This success of Devrim Özkan, who looks very comfortable and performs well in the fight scenes in the TV series, stems from her judo training.
The actress said, “My father raised my sister and me like a man. If I had to defend myself against something, my father prepared me for it. Judo was one of the sports that would not strain my legs. A judo club was established in Muğla, and I joined the team. Everything turned out very well for me. Judo has been incredibly helpful to me. I can shoot my current scenes thanks to judo,” she said.
