Selim Bayraktar, who plays the character of Alpagu Han in the Destan series, also draws attention with the costumes he wears. With the decors, accessories and costumes suitable for the eighth century, the series Epic exhibits a completely different elegance.
Selim Bayraktar said, “As you can see, I have a very functional costume on me. In fact, we need to be able to move freely. We are on horseback, wielding swords, we have battle scenes. You have to be very comfortable in this. It can be the cause of many accidents. That’s why it takes a very serious talent to design it and to be able to make it both visually and functionally.
The character of Danış Ata, played by Alper Düzen, also draws attention in the series. This character, who is also the center of attention with his costumes, has a cool appearance and likened himself to the Jedi, the fictional character of the Star Wars project, the guardians of peace.
The actor said, “We have a furry Jedi vibe in Danist Ata’s costume. No one else has this. Special for Danış Ata. That’s why I love my costume so much.”
