The TV series “Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru”, which continues to meet with the audience on TRT1 screens on Friday evenings, is a very meaningful project. The scenes of the series, which brought the great cruelty experienced by the Turkish Cypriot people to the screen in the first season, were prepared more acceptable than what happened in real life. Despite this, it was once again revealed how great the atrocities experienced in Cyprus were.

The serious decrease in the ratings of the series, which continued on its way on the TRT1 screen in the second season with the name of Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru, points to a big problem. It is wondered why the series, which received very good feedback in the first season, experienced such a serious loss of viewers in the second season.

The leading roles in the series are shared by Ahmet Kural, Serkan Çayoğlu, Pelin Karahan, Tayanç Ayaydın, Gülper Özdemir and Devrim Saltoğlu. There are many different productions on Friday evenings and Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru cannot even be among the top 10 programs anymore…

The ratings of the series have decreased significantly compared to last season. It was not expected that the interest of the audience for the series, which fell below the average rates, decreased so quickly.

According to the plans on TRT1, it was decided to make the series final as of the 32nd episode. This will be a planned farewell anyway, but there are still 14 episodes left. The quality of the 18 episodes of the series that have been broadcast so far is also evident.

The Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru series may be a successful project for TRT1, but it also contains a lesson in the attitude of the fans of the series. It was expected that the interest in the series, which reflects the unity, solidarity and determination of the Turkish people, would be much higher.
