Family: Originally from Samsun Bafra, her father is a banker, her mother is an insurer. She lost her father in 2013. She has an older sister living in USA. “I lived in Göztepe for many years. We are two siblings, our childhood passed with my grandmother and grandfather because my mother and father worked. It is important to live with grandparents, and fortunately it happened. Childhood years: She first met the theater from her middle school years. Her mother used to take her to watch theater from a young age. When she was enrolled in the theater in middle school, theater was no longer a magical thing for her. She wanted to be an actress in her middle school years, but after high school she entered the physics department of Yıldız Technical University. When she was not busy with anything other than theater, she took the conservatory exams, and when she won, she quit physics. “I spent my summers with my grandfather in our summer house until college. In this sense, I also know not to be an urbanite. I grew up under olive and pine trees with goats, chickens, and dogs. I can say that I grew up more in the summer than in school. ”
Educational life: She graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department. She also completed her master’s degree on Cinema at Marmara University.
The first step to acting: She started her television adventure with the TV series Ayrılsak da Beraberiz.
With which project did she shine? She drew attention with the character “Leyla”, which she portrayed in the “Medcezir” (Tides) series.
Personality traits: Although she seems distant, she has a friendly nature, sincere, hopeful, hardworking. “I may seem distant at first glance, but it’s nice to be cheerful. I generally have a thoughtful nature that takes everything seriously and gets overwhelmed, but I am aware, I am distracted by myself and events. I like a smiling face. Now I’m not talking about a curiosity about where, what is he doing, it’s not a curiosity. I’m talking about wondering about a person, what does he think, what does he feel, what is he busy with? Curiosity, excitement, emotions. It is not possible for us to fall in love with someone we do not wonder. When you are in love one becomes more curious about everything. ”
View of life: She likes to be cautious in the environments she enters, it takes time to open herself up. “It may take time before I can express myself clearly. One of the most important issues I emphasize in life is doing my job with care. I also emphasize dreaming, understanding, agreement. It can be hopeless that I lose my hope easily, but I do not think it will help. You have to work and keep going. ”
Her view on business life: She doesn’t care much about the people around her considering her as beautiful. She does not prefer to be tabloid either. “I am not a woman whose first feature is beauty. This is my job anyway. If I have a good side, it was not a cause but a supplementary factor. This would be unfair to my profession and my job, anyway. The effect of the magazine on the actor is a matter of choice. It’s about how you stand in it. If you want it to affect your career, you can achieve those conditions and walk, but I have nothing to do with them. ”
Career plan: The future goal of acting is to work continuously without losing her enthusiasm. “Goals change with every new job. Being a part of inspiring work is the most constant goal for me. ”
Hobby: Painting. There was always a distance between painting and until very recently, but when she came across, she occupied her mind and soul. “I rarely had one or two attempts, but I felt like I had an exam paper in front of me and left. Beyond acting, I was looking for different expressions with photography and writing, but I never thought I could express myself in the world of painting. One day two and a half years ago, I drew something on my notebook where I took instant notes and could not compare it to anything. That day I did a trial myself, and this time I closed my eyes and drew something. When I opened my eyes, I came across a face that meant something to me. After that day, I tried to distance myself from the idea of what I will draw, how I will draw and what it will express to whom and a journey began in the notebooks. Over time, I found myself busy with painting in all my free time. I started to play with different materials on large papers and canvases besides notebook pages. After a year and a half, when I realized that wherever I was I still wanted to go home and paint, I realized that it wasn’t just a whim. I’ve never been so lost in anything. ”
The criterion for attractiveness in men: The man who will enter her life must first arouse curiosity in her. “I can’t fall in love with someone I’m not curious about. I cannot be a person who is only and only busy with himself or always busy with someone else. It’s funny to say I can’t be; this is life. I am also afraid of jealousy. A person who is jealous tends to envy not only his loved one, but also every good thing, every happy moment or success. ”
Does she follow fashion? She’s not a fashion addict or a shopaholic. “I like what is beautiful, that’s why I care about dressing beautifully.”
