Family: Born and raised in Istanbul.
Childhood years: She wanted to be an actress from her childhood. “I went to Ankara to study. I left school in the first year of high school. Because we had family problems, my mother was being treated at the hospital. I wanted to be with you too. Then I said, ‘This will not be like this, I have to finish high school’ and I finished high school with external exams. I didn’t know why, but I wanted to do theatre. Ever since I was a child, I used to say that I would be a theater actress. Then I took the aptitude tests and won in my first test. When I finished school, I first started working on a project called ‘The Storm’.
Education life: She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of Theater.
Turning point of her career: She sees the TV series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” as the turning point of her career. “I acted a woman who lives in the suburbs and is beaten by her husband in the TV series ‘Senden Başka’. Later, I acted a doctor in the TV series named ‘Derdest’. I last acted in the TV series “Ayrılık” on TRT, but it didn’t last long either. I became known to a wide audience with ‘Muhteşem Yüzyıl’.”
The first step into acting: She started her television adventure in 2006 with the character of “Tamara”, which she portrayed in the TV series “Fırtına”.
Which project did it shine with? She attracted attention with her character “Gülşah” in the TV series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl”.
Social: She likes to spend time at home when he can spare time for herself from her busy work schedule. “I take time for myself as much as I can. Especially in such a process (pandemic), perhaps the thing we need the most is to turn inward, to love ourselves, to thank. At the end of a busy and difficult day, thinking about the moment when I will go home and hug my cat can motivate me enough.”

Her outlook on business life: She never thought of doing any other profession other than acting. “I have always had an interest in music. But within my profession, I try to fulfill this wish from time to time. The biggest handicap of our profession is that it has no guarantees. This inconsistency also causes problems. You worry about what to do. Being in a vacuum creates problems and not being able to make money.
Career plan: Theatre, cinema, screen… She wants to be present in all of them “It is an indescribable pleasure to be on stage and share excitement with the audience. Acting is acting on the stage, in the series and in the cinema, it does not change, but it is inevitable that there are different worlds from time to time, due to the circumstances.”
Concerns: She experienced some concerns during the pandemic period. “In the pandemic, we all returned to ourselves. During this period, I think I missed freedom the most. Unfortunately, we realized some values when we lost. Surely this has different effects on everyone. However, the fact that our end is still pending caused me a lot of anxiety. I missed hugging and breathing deeply, and I understood the value of health and life. But I think nothing happens without a reason, maybe the world needed to move away from matter and experience it.”
What advice would she give to aspiring actors? She says that acting is a profession that can be done willingly. “I know that the appearance of acting as a popular profession creates desire in many young people, but it is not as easy as it looks from the outside, it is a process that requires a lot of effort. Wrong decisions, unfortunately, lead to soap bubbles like many names in the industry. If they give real value and effort to acting, I believe they can achieve the happiness they deserve. I think it is a very difficult art to do without heart.”
