Family: Her parents are teachers. She is the child of a family from Isparta from her father’s side and from Siirt from her mother’s side. Her parents fell in love and got married immediately. She has lived on the Anatolian side since she was born, and her childhood passed in Suadiye. On March 23, 2019, she married the journalist Kanat Atkaya for the second time.
Childhood years As a child, her biggest ideal was to be a firefighter. She used to go to her grandmother’s mansion with a pomegranate garden in Siirt during the summer holidays. “I grew up there with a lot of crazy women with my aunts and cousins. My teacher was my father in primary school. My father is an idealistic man as he shouldn’t have been. Education life: After graduating from Kadiköy Girls’ High School in 1996, she graduated from Dokuz Eylül Fine Arts Faculty Theater Department. In 2001, she started acting in Müjdat Gezen Art Center.
First step into acting: She started her television adventure with the character ‘Meliha’ in the TV series “My Dear Family”.
With which project did it shine? She drew attention with her role as “Yaren” in the TV series “Ulan Istanbul”.
Personality traits: Fun but calm, letting life flow, not ambitious. “Nice I say ‘Never mind’. I have a tendency to do whatever I want. A source of happiness : Not work oriented but life oriented. The greatest source of happiness and motivation is traveling. “Once I come to the world, will I run after work? Living a happy life with my family and loved ones is the top priority for me. The people around me being happy, smiling, being a good person, going on trips. My biggest motivation is to travel. Work comes after that.

Definition of love: “I think love; Feeling oneself in the right place, always having a mood that one likes to be. We, as a generation, came across a period in which relations changed form. We are a very difficult generation. The areas where you can communicate have increased, but communication has become difficult. While it was easy to get along, the opposite happened, we can’t get along anymore. Not only relationships but also the forms of friendships have changed. We became people living far from the truth. ”
View of life: She does not want to know what will happen to her, she is open to surprises. “One of the things I love about life is that it is adventurous. I do not want to spoil the magic of life with the questions I ask. When I was in college, I was saying, “I guess I won’t be so excited when you walk through the door called maturity in 15 years.” But it was not like that, it excites me very much to be still in life. There are things I want to do, places I want to see, books I want to read, movies I want to watch, people I want to meet. I love people who score their own goal. You can only see your flaws if you can be aware of yourself. We are all temporary in this world, you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously. We are not as special and important as we think. After 50 years, none of us will be read. I have no business with people who suffer from fainting syndrome because of their work. ”
View of business life: thinks that the Turkish TV series and cinema industry is getting better. “Very good movies come out in the cinema. I think the same for TV series. With the introduction of internet projects into our lives, we had the chance to reach much more different contents. Stories and characters that we are not used to watching on TV, a faster pace, shorter durations. These gave tremendous quality. I want to kiss the internet and put it on my head. Productions such as Personality, Dip, Fi. These are projects that we are not used to watching and that satisfy me very much as an audience. ”
Career plan: The primary motivation for television, too, is not ratings. Her main goal is to be able to show a good performance in a proper drama. She looks warmly at internet dramas. “The web series is a very different world, and it has a lot of visibility. I get very good reactions on the street.
Future Dream : Acting is not at the center of your life. “After three years, you can see me doing a completely different job and being quite happy. I’m trying to be a good person. Let me be happy and have a lot of fun, that’s enough for me. ”
Concerns: She finds it very unfair that Turkish women are only remembered for sacrifice and not for their work. “Sacrifice to me; it evokes lives that have been dedicated to others, leaving their own lives. I will not leave my life to anyone, and I do not find it right for anyone else to do it either. ”
Role model: Meryl Streep. “I think when we say Merly Streep we’re talking about an icon. She has an impressive career and character. One of my role models. ”
Does she want to be a mother? Not a baby-focused woman. “I don’t know what will happen to us. Some women want children intensely, I haven’t been like that. But I am not saying I will not have children. It would be great if it did. But I’m not a baby-oriented woman. ”
