Childhood years: He had a pleasant childhood. He had a passion for football when he was younger. “When I say my childhood, oh! It was very enjoyable, I really enjoyed my childhood. I wouldn’t go into the house from the street, and those experiences added a lot to me. I didn’t want to be an actor, but I always cared. Actually, I was a football player. As you know, we have trainings three or four days a week, and as soon as it snows, we have to train. One day, my mother and aunt said, ‘I made you enroll in the course’. I said ‘What course’, they said ‘Theatre’. I reacted first, I didn’t want to, but they pushed too hard. I started going to the compulsory course. Then I started to like it very much and I said, ‘This is it’.
Education life: He completed his high school education at Istanbul Bahçelievler Commercial Vocational High School. He graduated from Haliç University Theater and Acting Department. “I started acting at Bakırköy Municipal Theater when I was a student at the conservatory. After graduating, I continued to work in this institution. When I won the private university, my father said, ‘You pay for it yourself’. I continued to work in theater while I was in school. The late Müşfik Kenter was the general art director of the theater where I worked. He got me a scholarship from school. I was paying the rest with the money I got from the theater.”
The turning point of his career: He believes that each person has a talent of his own and that the important thing is to see it and move forward on that path. His co-star Aslı Enver was instrumental in his appearing on the screen. “I wanted to be a part of this business professionally when I felt my acting talent for myself and those around me, and I set some goals for myself. First of all, of course, I wanted to get a good education and improve myself, so my conservatory years began. This is how my acting story took shape. I did not enter any TV series or movie as an actor until the fourth year of the conservatory. I was studying at a private university under very difficult conditions. Therefore, my priority was to finish school. When I entered the school, I saw many people come to classes to become famous. I don’t find it wrong, everyone has their own preference, but this is how the process developed for me. My television career started when I was in the fourth grade thanks to my friend Aslı Enver from the conservatory. He took me to a production company and put me on the show. He was the first to say ‘Come on’ to me. At first I was excited as I was an amateur. You didn’t know life back then, you thought everything was going on stage once. As I got older and saw life, I realized that I had more to do. “Suskunlar” has a very special place for me. It was an extraordinary job and after that drama, I became a professional actor, I worked with very talented and very professional people in this business. ‘Suskunlar’ was a turning point for me.”
The first step into acting: He started his television adventure in 2008 with the TV series “Kollama”.

Personality traits: Fun, idealistic, meticulous. “There is a cheerful, happy, exciting, restless production. One of my most striking features is that I am very meticulous. For example, my house is not a youth house. Meticulousness is both my advantage and disadvantage. I guess that’s how I was brought up.”
Hobby: Playing the clarinet. “It’s a difficult instrument to play, but I had a predisposition. I made a noise the first time I got it. I also practice percussion. I have no plans to make an album in the future. It would be like getting up and saying ‘I became a pop singer’ after 2 days. I don’t think I can do that much. For me it’s just a hassle. I played football professionally for a while. I also do snowboarding.”

His view of love: “I am someone who can fall in love with anyone at any moment. I don’t have to fall in love with someone famous just because I’m famous. I don’t have such a world. For example, I fell in love with a woman standing at the bus stop. In my opinion, the differentiation of bilateral expectations over time in the relationship causes disappointment on both sides. This word ‘expectation’ is very important, it directs your life with human expectations. He who knows his expectations both in business and in business, wins. I think the most important thing in a relationship is; understanding and trusting each other, the rest is useless.”
Perspective on business life: “He believes that the TV series industry in Turkey is at its most productive and on the rise. “I think that with the increase in education and professionalism in the sector, it will come to a much better position. Internet television broadcasting has been advancing rapidly in the world for 2-3 years, and has only recently gained momentum in Turkey. I think internet television is the biggest channel in the world and I think it will cover a large part of the TV series market in the near future. I watch myself in what I do, just as we cannot know the taste of food until we taste it, that’s it, if I don’t watch myself, I can’t see my right and wrong.”
Career plan: He wants to take part in projects that will contribute to his acting and develop. “I didn’t have a very comfortable life. I spent time with all kinds of people at some point in my life and had the chance to observe them. Of course, I never chose a role due to good and professional acting. For me, only the work and the script have to fit my spirit, but I want to act people who have gone through life’s hardships.”
The criterion of attractiveness in women: “A woman does not have to be very beautiful to impress me. The color of her hair, her perfume, or her speech can affect me.”
Which movie was he influenced by: ‘I can watch Mr. Nobody’ and ‘Shutter Island’ over and over. Likewise the films of Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan.”
