STORY:
Çelebiler, a well-known and successful family of Bursa, is almost an excellent, rich, connected, happy, conservative, dignified and appreciated family from Bursa. Father Asaf Çelebi, years ago, two primitive textile workshop established looms, Turkey’s most advanced textile turned into factories and America, to Europe’s considerable company even took a holding state produces domestic market of fabrics and clothing. Behind all this is Galip Çelebi, the eldest son of the family who returned to Bursa as soon as he graduated from Istanbul Technical University. Galip, a natural, well-intentioned, charismatic and hardworking man, has always been a good son. The greatest fortune of the Çelebi family, Galip married Hanzade Birkol and had a son in the third year of her marriage: Ömerasaf. Galip and his brother Akın Çelebi are the two heirs of this empire who are regarded with envy and admiration both in the business world and in their circles.
Their mother, Esmanur Hanım, is one of the most powerful women of Bursa notables. Galip’s wife, Hanzade, is Bursa’s luckiest bride. The conflict between Galip and Hanzade, which had grown steadily years ago, seemed to be shelved with the birth of their son. Since principles and family come first for the winner, the institution of marriage continued with Hanzade’s conception. For Galip, who is extremely fond of his son Ömer Asaf, what they expect from marriage and love has turned into family manhood and success in business life. The interior of this family, where everything seems normal and even perfect, is actually a Burnt Cocoon. The fate of Galip Çelebi and the whole family is suddenly turned upside down by a terrible tragedy. The great secret, which lived 10 years ago and was kept from Galip, is revealed in the autumn of 2005 and the dissolution begins. That big family; it is not even a real family!
