Turkey’s leading local online video platform BluTV brought the audience together in September 2020, TIMS&B Productions’ “Yarım Kalan Aşklar” series was selected for Series Mania, which has been among the most important television content festival in Europe since 2011. The series was the only project from Turkey to be included in the list among 21 productions selected for the Forum Exclusives section of the festival, which has been held in Lille, France since 2018.
From the moment it entered the selection of BluTV, the special production “Yarım Kalan Aşklar”, which has been widely talked about and received great acclaim, is preparing to embark on an international journey. The series, produced by TIMS&B Productions and starring Burak Deniz and Dilan Çiçek Deniz, was among the 21 productions selected for the Forum section of Series Mania, Europe’s largest television content festival, which has been held in Lille, France since 2018.
The first two episodes of “Yarım Kalan Aşklar”, the only production from Turkey, which will make its European premiere in the list of high-quality TV series from 19 countries, will be shown on the giant screen between August 30 and September 1, 2021. Directing the industry with its masterclasses, the festival’s main program includes the 5th season premiere of the phenomenal series ‘La Casa de Papel’ this year, while the popular TV series of 2021 ‘Dr. Many big productions, especially Death’ and ‘Hacks’, will be presented to the sector.
Produced by Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, “Yarım Kalan Aşklar”, which tells the most “original” and “extraordinary” love story among BluTV’s special productions, Ozan, who lost his life as a result of a traffic accident and returned to the world in the body of a surprise person. He turns his camera to what he’s going through.
In the high-tension production where action meets mysterious elements, Burak Deniz and Dilan Çiçek Deniz also feature important names such as Cem Davran, Ezel Akay, Esra Rusan, Nazlı Bulum, Cihat Süvarioğlu, Gizem Ünsal. While master director Umur Turagay sits in the director’s chair of Turkey’s first magical realist TV series, “Yarım Kalan Aşklar,” the script is written by Ethem Özışık, Hakan Bonomo and Ercan Uğur. The series continues to meet with TV fans around the world through Inter Medya, which distributes it internationally.
