Who is Eylül Su Sapan? Where is she from – Height – Age – TV Series – Family

Eylül Su Sapan was born on September 7, 1993 in Istanbul. Turkish TV series, cinema and theater actor.

Name: Eylül Su Sapan

Place of Birth: Istanbul
Height: 1.67 m.
Weight: 55 kilos
Sign: Virgo
Eye color: Hazel

Pets: She has a dog.

Family: She got support from her family when she said she wanted to be an actress. “My family has always supported my every decision. When they heard that I wanted to be an actress, they weren’t over the moon, they didn’t pout.

Education life: She graduated from Kadıköy Girls’ High School. She studied acting at Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

The turning point of her life: She wanted to study cinema, she started going to a cinema club founded by Boğaziçi University students during high school, meeting Zehra Derya Koç there changed the course of her life. “Zehra was going to shoot a short film, so I wanted to help her and be a part of that process. But she offered me to play and that’s how it all started. Until then, I had never been in any theater play, even at school. I used to go to and from the school drama club, but we didn’t do much. I didn’t know much about theater, and I never thought of being an actress. In fact, I was thinking, ‘Why would people want to be an actor?’ Acting felt like a lie. With the short film, my opinion started to change, I loved the environment and being part of a team. After graduating from high school, I decided to study theater as if that was my idea for years.”

The first step into acting: She started her television adventure in 2012 with the character of “Melis”, which she portrayed in the TV series “Pis Yedili”. “I got into the Pis Yedili in school, it was my first job. Everyone in the staff was studying in the theater department. This situation created a very good synergy because everyone came to the set with a new experience or a new knowledge and method and shared them with the other actors. At that time, I joined the cast of Gani Müjde’s Tükenmez Kalem and joined the team of the Yahşi Cazibe series as a treatment writer.”

Which project did it shine with? She attracted attention with her character “Alara” in the TV series “Her Yerde Sen”.

Personality traits: Compatible, calm, smiling, participatory. “The feature that makes me me is; I’m intolerant and don’t like to wait.”

Mindset: She is not always at peace with herself and thinks that this is not something to be learned. “I don’t think that being at peace with yourself is something to be experienced all the time, and that you can always be at peace with yourself. What everyone does best is to tell the truth and claim what they did and will do, but the hard thing is to keep it up. Courage is to do something unexpected. Even if you think that the results will not always be good, without calculation, it is the only quality one must have in order to achieve something, maybe in life. For a world that is not artificial, I think it is necessary to look like yourself.”

First feature film: Özgür Bakar/ Ammar

Her outlook on life: She tries to be honest with herself. “I find myself questioning on this subject from time to time. But still, something about knowing and understanding yourself and being judgmental and critical towards yourself is honesty. So I don’t know how far I can achieve. When beauty is mentioned, aesthetics comes to mind directly. Since the definition of aesthetics was made centuries ago, naturally, we have a valid definition and search for physical beauty in the collective perception. I still believe that beauty can be changeable for everyone, and that physical and moral standards of beauty can change.”

Her outlook on business: She thinks women in Turkey are very funny and believes that more women should come out as comedians. He likes the continuity of her character. “Of course, the character cannot stay the same as in the first moment, it is very difficult for the screenwriters to maintain some things, but it is possible to maintain that continuity with a single look or behavior. We don’t always know the reason for everything, you can’t find answers to all the questions you ask. Sometimes you find those answers on the way to the set, sometimes on the stage. You are building a world and you have to believe in it, make you believe it.”

Career plan: She wanted to do Stagd-up for a semester. She also loves the theater scene. “I felt very good in ‘Beş Kardeş’, my job after ‘Pis Yedili’. And the “Istanbullu Gelin” was the most professional team I’ve ever been in. I wanted to do stand-up for a while and I started writing. When it comes to women’s comedy, the subject inevitably shifts to the private moments of women. It brings laughter when a man does it. Even my female friends stopped me a little bit about it. They said, ‘How will you tell a razor or a menstrual story?’ The concept of self-censorship has occupied every part of our lives unfortunately. Despite the ‘girlpower’ trend that has taken the whole world by storm, the shame of being a woman still hasn’t completely changed. I wish we could get through. Continuing to look like a woman, with our red lipstick or feminine clothes… The stage performance is the hardest in stand-up math. Iliza has three shows on Netflix, I like it a lot. They have very funny characters. One of them is named Ertesi Gün Goblini and it sums up the female world beautifully. ‘Paçayı Kurtarmak’ is my first theatrical play. Onur Şimşek read the play of David Leon, the director and writer of the play, and was very impressed. I have always been an assistant in the theater, I was afraid to go on stage, frankly, it sounded ambitious. I read the play and I was very impressed, it is a play like poetry. The play is for one person, and the one I play is a trans character. So after Onur gave me the text, I asked for some time to think. There is no decoration either. You are asked to tell the story of a woman, a trans woman for 70 minutes. It was very risky in every way.”

Future Dream: She also writes screenplays. She applied to the Ministry of Culture with her short film project, but was not accepted. “This does not intimidate me, I want to save what I earn from my work and invest it in the film. I wrote a feature film that tells the story of two girlfriends. It is a story that I have been writing since I was 16 years old and developed with my own experiences. It’s like a file that I keep opening and closing. I will also apply to the Berlinale, both for the script and as an actor.”

Does she follow fashion? “I used to worry more about the clothes myself, I would continue to wear them without telling anyone, but I would feel uncomfortable, maybe in them. Now I get dressed and go out. I never question. Believing because I think the main thing is.”

How is she with social media? He thinks social media is a tool and a useful thing if used well.
