The Sipahi series made a good start with the first episode ratings and it seems to be a project that is expected to increase the interest of the audience from the second episode. Kaan Yıldırım also appeared before the audience with one of the most different roles of his career. The actor, whom we watched with the character of an agent named Korkut Ali Türkoğlu, was last seen on the screen as a doctor in the TV series Hekimoğlu.
Explaining that we have a very rich culture and that there are many stories in Turkey, the actor said, “We have many stories. We have very talented directors and producers who can shoot stories beautifully. We are a community capable of doing world-class work if more opportunities arise. But of course, these things are a matter of time and money,” he said.
Underlining that innovative TV series are made, Kaan Yıldırım cited the TV series Sıcak Kafa (Hot Head), which was broadcast on Netflix, as an example. Praising Sıcak Kafa, which is no different from foreign dystopian series, the actor said:
“Innovative work is starting to be done too, Sıcak Kafa. It’s really no different than foreign affairs. It is so beautifully shot, it tells such a different dystopian world that I was amazed. Because we are a talented, practical-minded nation, we will make a lot of noise in the world if we have more time and money to do it.”
The first season of the Sıcak Kafa series was broadcast on Netflix and attracted great attention.
